Attwater Group and its subsidiary Custom Composites are once again exhibiting at the Composites Engineering Show when it returns for the fourth consecutive year in November.
Composites Engineering 2013 is the UK’s largest composites design and manufacturing event, and is part of Advanced Engineering 2013.
Lancashire-based Attwater, which specialises in industrial laminates and machining, will be exhibiting its range of epoxy glass, polyimide glass, phenolic fabric and carbon fibre products. These are used in a wide variety of sectors, including aerospace, power generation, marine, general engineering, typically for electrical distribution and industrial applications.
Custom Composites will be exhibiting its range of carbon fibre tubes that have many specialist uses in sectors including military, sport to industrial sectors. In particular it will be displaying part of its range of products for the marine sector, including light weight, high-strength railings, tillers, and masts.
This year, Attwater increased its production capability with the recent purchase of a new Holzma beam saw to expand its capability up to 150mm thick and to improve its trimming process. It was purchased alongside a new Torit Collector unit to capture the dust from the saw, which has a flow rate of 10,500m³/hr.

The Composites Engineering Show is the perfect opportunity for us to put our products in front of large numbers of relevant people and we are very much looking forward to the experience, which will be our fourth in as many years.”
The Composites Engineering show takes place at Birmingham’s NEC, across November 12th and 13th.
