Attwater Joins British Marine
Attwater & Sons Ltd is proud to have joined British Marine, the organisation that works to promote and support the £3bn-a-year-sector.
Marine is a vital part of what we do at Attwater. It’s where we began, 150 years ago, as a ships chandler on Preston Docks.
And since those very first days we have been involved with the Titanic, Team GB’s Olympic gold medal sailors, and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
As members of British Marine, we’ll join hundreds of boat builders, superyacht designers, marina operators and many more.
Together, we’ll work to deliver excellence throughout the boating industry. Membership of British Marine is a badge that denotes quality, and we’re proud to wear it.
As member of the organisation, we will also do our part to encourage people to enjoy the sea, rivers and inland waterways, as well as promoting career opportunities in our industry.
In return, we will benefit from a growing industry, a larger number of potential customers, a more skilled workforce, and a population at home and abroad that enjoys the waterways as much as we do.
